The Wijncoop coat of arms

This is the original coat of arms of Jan Wijncoop & Aernoldina Reijnst. In RWG3 Richard Wynkoop describes a Wynkoop coat of arms on page 3:

A Wynkoop coat of arms, as of Amsterdam, is decribed in Armorial Général (J. B. Riestap, Gouda, 1884), as follows: "Wyncoop-Amsterdam. Ec.: aux 1 et 4 d'azur à un rocher d'arg., mouv. d'une mer du méme, acc. en chef de deux étoiles (5) d'or; aux 2 et 3 d'azur au lion d'arg., cour. d'or." This may be translated: In the 1st and 4th quarters of blue, a rock of silver, projecting from a sea of silver; two golden five pointed stars [with wavy lines] side by side, at the top of the shield: in the 2d and 3d quarters, also of blue, a silver lion, with a gold crown. The Compiler has had a drawing made, from the foregoing description, as shown below.
Fantasy drawing of the coat of arms ..

But the fantasy drawing the 'Compiler' (as Richard titles himself) presents us is not really good. At the top of this page you see the correct image of which Richard only had a description. It is clearly visible that the lions hold bundels of arrows, and it seems that they are double-tailed. Who knows more about heraldry ?

Some remarks: the 'rock of silver, projecting from a sea of silver' is described differently by Alb. Thijm, in 'Het Patriciaat van Amsterdam', fol. 17, as: 'a silver mountain, emerging from blue-silver water' (which reminds of the Wynkoops Mountains). Further, Thijm states that the lions in the 2nd and 3rd quarters are golden (on the picture though, it seems to be silver). And Gouda is an old city in The Netherlands, in the province of South-Holland, and it famous for it's cheese market, glass art, candles and long white pipes.
