We are pleased to inform you that Baumer will be present at SIMEI 2009 in Milan, Pad. 22 – S01 T02 from the 24th to the 28th of November 2009.

They will display the new Combinata packaging machine, which is suitable to pack the products in tray + film or in Wrap Around cartons.
The Combinata packaging machine is equipped with the revolutionary quick format changeover patented system. The format changeover is done by selecting the program from the operator panel and all the operations are made by servomotors or by asynchronous motors. This assures a very simple procedure and the maximum speed.


Here are some of the main characteristics of Baumer machines:

· Synchronization of the various mechanical movements through servo-motors
· Rapid format change-over
· Possibility to set new formats from the operator panel
· Possibility to pack ¼ pallet and quincunx
· Non-stop 90° infeed (it allows a considerable space reduction at small costs)
· Completely automatic reel change-over system with no welding - even for printed film (it allows the reel change-over at 80 ppm con with a 10-15% film saving)
· Partitions insertion from below
· Multifunction machines for three different packaging styles - wrap around carton, tray, tray + lid, and film only

The visitors of the Baumer stand will have the chance to see latest innovations, such as the new operator panel that offers a range of functions to simplify the format change-over operation, the preventive diagnostic, and the productivity analysis through an easy and intuitive graphic interface.
Moreover, they will have the opportunity to know the special 90° feeding system that enables production with a range of containers – rectangular, ovaloid, and even the more unsteady shapes- both with shrinkwrapping film and with wrap around carton. This patented system allows a non-stop production thanks to a rotating pushing device that guides the product without pressure while keeping a constant speed. Furthermore, this special system does not need cumbersome dividers to channel the products, therefore the machine is very compact and less costly. Finally, it grants the absorption of two or more production lines

NEWS - 08/09/2009:

We are pleased to inform you that Baumer will participate at the above-mentioned fair that will take place in Munich from the 14th to the 19th of September, 2009.

In our stand (B5.111) we will display the new shrinkwrapping machine - line Multiplanet, which is the result of the application of advanced technologies for the reaching of speeds up to 200 cycles/minute (200ppm in single row, 400 ppm in double row, 600 ppm in triple row).
Multiplanet is equipped with a revolutionary patented system for the film reels’ change over. This device enables to replace the ending reel and to pass to the new reel with no production stops and without the operator’s intervention thus generating an increase in both the efficiency and the effectiveness of the packaging line.
In addition, the automatic reel change-over system allows considerable savings on the use of the shrinkwrapping film.
Finally, the new reel change-over system can be applied to the whole range of low- speed lines starting from 50 ppm.
